I had a baby almost 7 weeks ago and she still doesn’t generally let me sleep more than 2 hours at a time (usually much less, such as 15 or 30 minutes at a time). I get close to 7 or 8 hours of sleep per day, but not all at once. About 3 times since her birth she has allowed me to sleep between 4 and 6 hours in one period of time. I feel like this interrupted sleep schedule is causing me to behave/think/feel differently than I do when well rested. I have been trying to find information about this, but most studies are concerned only with total sleep deprivation, rather than interrupted sleep.
If you're still in need of sleep, I recommend the Natural Sleep Made Simple guide. This book contains natural, totally safe, and PROVEN methods that will let you get to sleep every night with ease. Money back guarantee.

There would be lack of focus and concentration.
You could become irritable. Your tolerance could get low.
I hope you will be able to get help with your baby some of the time so you will be able to get more rest. Good Luck.
I experienced insomnia myself and I would literary wake up at night and never fall asleep my experience was that I was literally angry all the time and easily irritated. If you have the money hire some extra help at night to help you with the baby.
