I am a week late and I’m getting nervous. I thought they tested for pregnancy before putting you to sleep…it could be the intense medications I am on that’s causing the delay.
Oh I also took Plan B.
any suggestions?

I can’t speak for them, but we always asked if there was any chance a female could be pregnant, and if the answer was yes, a pregnancy test was performed before any surgery involving anesthesia. Why don’t you call the hospital to inquire?
There is no universal rule. Many doctors will ask the patient if there’s a possibility of pregnancy, and if she says no, believe her and do a pregnancy test anyway.
Even if you had a negative pregnancy test last week, that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be positive this week or next. You can either plan on retesting every week or two, or you can just enjoy worrying.

They always test for pregnancy before surgery. And the stress of the surgery could easily be responsible for being late. I don’t know much about plan B, but I’m betting that might interfere with your cycle as well.
The only time the test for pregnancy is when you take a pregnancy test

Not necessarily. Take a pg test, that’s the ONLY way to know.
