Here Is A Weird Question?

Sometimes when I am trying to sleep or sometimes when I have a particular dream I go through this strange and st times disturbing episodes where it feels like I become obsessively fearful over the most trite things; like whether or not I will wake up in time to get to class. It isn’t just being afraid, it just comes out of nowhere and can ge tto the point where I feel like crying because I can’t keep this flood of emotion in check. It doesn’t last very long, but a couple of times things didn’t feel right; my pillow felt like a rock and my sheets felt like glass. It dosen’t feel like a dream, it is very real. Some people have said that I may be having small localized seizures due to sleep deprivation, which I have battle with sice I was a teenager. Has anyone gone through this or knows someone who has.

If you're still in need of sleep, I recommend the Natural Sleep Made Simple guide. This book contains natural, totally safe, and PROVEN methods that will let you get to sleep every night with ease. Money back guarantee.

You sound like you are stressed to the max. Do you have big problems in your life right now, you need to learn how to relax.

You probably should see a neurologist. After developing a serious illness about 3 years ago, I also have sleep deprivation and have had the most weird experiences with sleep I could have ever imagined. I also have a seizure condition but on medication. But the sleep disorder I have is due to my illness which is a nervous system disorder and neurological. What little sleep I get is always a terrible experience.

it seems like you have some problems to work out and your dreams are symbolizing what the real fear is in your life and it should be worked out befor they get worse, maybe you should seek a specialist. but i have felt like i was falling off of a cliff but i think that is normal.

actually you may want to go to a psychiatrist, it sounds like manic episodes, I used to have them in high school..It can be treated rather easily with low dose drugs

Well dreams can be very real and they do affect you sometimes, you just ask God not to let your dreams affect you during the day that’s all

While I can’t say that my experiences are the “same”, I do have anxiety and sleep deprivation. I finally sought the the help of a psychiatrist and it has helped tremendously. I was the last to admit that I needed help, but after battling an severe physical problem and the sleep deprivation, I had to do something. My regular doctor wasn’t doing anything to help and quite honestly, was accusing me of doing “street” drugs. I had to draw the line somewhere. Get some help. You’ll be amazed at what can be accomplished.

I’ve heard some people say things like you are experiencing are a part of anxiety. See a doctor. Antidepressents or antianxiety meds might help. Good luck. It really makes life hard when you can’t get a decent night’s sleep. In the mean time, you might try deep breathing exercises at night and/or visualization ( visualize and concentrate on things that make you feel good).

Those dreams that you say that you feel like they are for real, that’s called lucid dreaming and you can LEARN HOW TO CONTROL YOUR DREAMS. Enter lucid dreaming in google.com in google search for more info. I hope this info helps!! Don’t worry, I have the same dreams. I’m still learning to control my dreams. AND RELAXING ONLY MAKES YOU TEMPORARILY FORGET ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS, RELAXING DOES NOT MAKE THEM GO AWAY.YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM IN THE PROPER MANNER TO MAKE THE RESULTS BENEFIT YOU.YOU’LL DO WELL TO NEVER FORGET THAT!!!
