-not all detanees are guilty. look how many we released because they were picked up by msitake. you don’t have to be good at math to know that if you grab over 100 people a few will be innocent

I bet the government’s defense would be that they died of natural causes after being hooded, gagged, strangled, beaten with blunt objects, subjected to sleep deprivation and to hot and cold environmental conditions.
And most people would believe this to justify the means.

What really gets me is how some of the other posters here automatically assume that the detainees were actually responsible for terrorist activities. If I’m not mistaken, they were suspects and some of them hadn’t been proven guilty.
